Our calculation basis & sources
We derive the need scientifically but deliberately output the verified BUDXXL manufacturer dosage as the quantity. Science explains the WHY; the amount comes from our feed schedule.
Light intensity ⟷ yield potential (W/m², PPFD, DLI): photosynthesis and biomass rise with light up to a saturation range. We use W/m² only to classify your setup, not to drive nutrient quantity.

Nutrient demand by growth stage (N in growth, P/K in bloom): relative demand shifts across the cycle. This is exactly what the phase-based schedule reflects (Grow early, Bloom/Candy during bloom).

Watering volume by substrate (soil/coco/hydro/aero): drives total nutrient-solution throughput. A flowering canopy peaks at roughly 10 L/m²/day; our weekly curve builds up to that. For coco and aero we add 15 % drainage, for hydro 25 % (the weekly reservoir change comes on top) — that solution runs through fully fed.

The concrete ml amounts do NOT come from a formula but from the verified BUDXXL feed schedule (ml per litre of water, weeks 1–11). The science explains WHY the schedule looks the way it does; the amount is our manufacturer recommendation.
